Ashley Libby Diaz
BRAVE Board Member

Ashley Libby Diaz, PT, MBA is a breast cancer advocate and a young-adult breast cancer survivor. In December 2013, at the age of 36, she was diagnosed with ER and PR-positive breast cancer and had a bilateral mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery. Ashley has supported numerous women facing breast cancer since her own diagnosis and is passionate about cancer prevention, early cancer detection, patient self-advocacy, and patients’ rights to choose. 

 

Ashley brings over 20 years of healthcare and marketing experience to BRAVE. She is a physical therapist turned strategic brand and marketing consultant and advisor and executive, leadership, and team coach to global and growth-stage medtech companies. She has run her own coaching and consulting practice since 2011. Ashley sits on the Forbes Communications Council and the Board of Cancer Support Community Southwest Colorado. In addition, she is a member of Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Healthcare Industry Foundation and co-chair of the MedtechWomen Marketing Committee and Digital Orthopedic Conference San Francisco (DOCSF) Ventures. 

 

Ashley is an avid athlete and adventurer. In her spare time, she enjoys downhill and backcountry skiing, trail running and racing, mountain and fat biking, hiking, climbing, and mountaineering at home in the Colorado Rockies, where she lives with her husband, David, and their two cats, Gray and Torrey.
