Episode 2 What Made You Decide with BRAVE Breast Cancer Survivor and BRAVE Ambassador Alain Kemp
Initially diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at age 31, further tests revealed Alaina was actually Stage 3 leading to the commencement of her aggressive therapy to beat breast cancer. Treatment started with chemotherapy weekly for 12 weeks. After a month of recovery, Alaina decided to get a double mastectomy followed by radiation and finally reconstruction surgery. Alaina shares the factors that led to her reconstruction choices.
